Just wanted to give a big thanks to the guys at PI Motorsports for getting my AC all hooked up and working like a champ (was thinking about Vintage Air, but ended up just keeping it stock). Stuck in 405 traffic for more than an hour on the way home and it was so cold I couldn't even run it all the time. Temp gauge barely cracked 200 when I was sitting in dead stop traffic for a solid 5 min, but that's it. Money well spent knowing I can drive the car anywhere anytime and be comfortable and not worry about it. Bring on the summer cruises!

Congratulations.
and additional congratulations for not falling down the rabbit hole and learning that sometimes .....stock..... is good enough 😁

That's great, when you say stock is that with the original York compressor?
No, I mean vs getting a Vintage Air unit which I was considering. I have a new compressor, drier, and larger condenser.
Are you still using R-12 or have you switched to R-134a?
134… just didn’t want to mess with trying to find it, etc. I know R12 is colder, but this blows so cold as it is, I can’t imagine it any colder.
Thats great news!! Glad to hear it
Glad to hear its working so well!, I'm located in Virginia and am looking to get my A/C up and running. Would you mind sharing what larger condenser you're using? Thanks!
It's this one, four rows, I got it for less because they're local and I just went and picked it up for cash.

This is the same company that makes an evaporator/heater core unit with a smaller heater/larger evaporator than OEM.
Thanks for the information!
