I just installed my Precision Proformance SC1002 shocks/springs on my Pantera. I believe the ones I took off were the originals, they were bigger and nonadjustable, and the car would wobble on the freeway, so they were worn.

I told the guys at Pre-Pro to not lower my car and to not make the shocks too hard. I think I got what I asked for, and then some. The car now sits too high and is much too soft to drive. Fortunately, both things are adjustable.

Height: Should I just go ahead adjusting the height, or can I expect the new springs to become a little shorter after a few weeks? Any experience on what minimum gap to the fenders? I have original Campagnolos, 10" in the back. I can't stand if the tires hit the body, nothing is worse...

Firmness: What setting do you guys use? I believe all the shocks were set the same, but can't remember what number. It's a scale 1 to 5 though. Which is hard, and which is soft?
