Russo and Steele's auction policy kind of sounds like BS to me as outlined in the link below. Anyway, they will have a couple of Pantera's up for auction in the event at Monterey.

The key to this being a successful auction would seem to rely on how realistic the reserve is...

Sounds reasonable to me, with the state of the economy the Barrett-Jackson circus is pretty much Doomed. I read in the last issue of AutoWeek that the Kruse Auctions of Auburn ,IN has run into hard times and has not been paying his sellers, the article stated that Dean Kruse is having a cash flow problem and is expecting the Labor Day auction will pull him out of this mess.

That is pretty scary.

For the last few months I have been paying for anything of real value with my credit card rather then cash. That way if the goods that I have paid for via my CC are not delivered on time and as promised, I have recourse.

I went to the Spring Auction at Auburn. His problems has nothing to do with the economy. It's other stuff.

I did come home with an old Nascar though. Didn't mean to!
