I checked the Mcleod web site can't find any info on aluminum flywheel torque specs for flywheel or pressure place. Maybe its the same as factory.
Anyone know?

mark, I sent you an email with Coz's phone number. I know he runs an Aluminum flywheel too.
tighten it until it gets loose again, and then back off 1/4 turn.
Flywheel to Crank:
7/16" bolts: 60-65 lbs. 1/2" bolts 80-85 lbs. No washers.
Pressure Plate to Flywheel:
3/8" bolts: 30-35 lbs. 5/16" bolts: 20-25 lbs. Use flat washers or bolts with the flanges. Also use some lock tight on all bolts.

Thanks Coz I almost called today but was having a hell of a time getting out the old pinion bearing in the crank. Is that what its called?
So that took up must of my afternoon till I bought a slide hammer puller at Pep Boys still came out rather hard.

I believe it's called the pilot bearing.
Mine came out pretty hard as well. I ended up cutting it out with a dremel.

If you pump in grease, hydraulics will blow it out.

I tried the grease but it had a roller bearing in there and I didn't have anything that was the perfect diameter to hammer in so it just made a mess
