Hi Jack,
I need some help on oil pans. I have a chance to buy an aluminum pan made by Aviad. Does anyone have any experience with them. Biggest question is do they fit? Or should I buy a steel 10 Qt from another vender? Your article in PI got my attention......my engine works good and I'd hate to ruin it because of oil problems.
Thanks Guy

In my humble opinion. Aviad makes THE best wet-sump oil pan for a Pantera, bar none. All the Pantera vendors sell them and most race-Panteras use them. I've had mine for many years with no complaints. The only 'funny' thing is, they are more like 8-1/2 qts, not 10. Incidently, their steel pan is aluminized and looks like aluminum- check it with a magnet.
