I have been methodically installing the Wilwood Electronic Parking Brake on the Pantera project that I received in February.  The car came with 6 piston front Wilwood calipers with vented rotors and 4 piston calipers with vented rotors in the rear.  There was no parking brake at all.  Even the box for the hand brake pull lever in passenger compartment was removed, probably for dropped floor pans and/or a flat firewall cover (bubble engine cover).  Since all of the factory parking brake components are long gone, I decided to go the Wilwood Electronic Parking Brake.

Custom brackets are needed for the Wilwood Electronic calipers.  Dennis Quella provided these to me and they are well done.  He could not provide the exact spacers for the adapters.  Spacers are needed to center the caliper on the  rotor and it looks like a thick Grade 8 is getting the job done in my case.

I have been trying to figure out how the calipers are exactly centered and it turns out they are floating and self centering.  I thought I would be shimming the calipers with a combination of washers.  They only need to be mostly centered with a single spacer and the caliper does the rest.  Amazing.
