I have refurbished my engine bay and fitted some new parts to the 351C engine, and I have painted lots of parts etc etc, but I did remove the plate that shows where the TDC is on the engine, it has the pointer on it.
After cleaning it up with a rotary wire brush, I took it outside the garage and sprayed it. I placed it on a 1 foot square piece of plywood, the weather was fine and I left it to dry, and when I came to give it a top coat it wasn't there, along with the plywood!!! some scrote had pinched it, if you can help please let me know.
