I sometimes see crunchy old tool bags with a smattering of tools, but haven't found (though someone here may be better at the 'search' feature) a definitive list showing;

1. Number and type of tools
2. Arrangment in the bag

My tool roll had 'partial' tools: socket for jack, 2 screwdrivers, 3 wrenches, window winder.

My parts manual shows what I believe is a European bag with way more tools shown than I see in the typical ebay auctions.

I have an OEM bag and one of Dennis' recreation bags (which is awesome; have listed my spare bag for sale here and in 'Parts' section:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/290844...id=p3984.m1555.l2649 )

Yet does anyone know the 'correct' USA bag contents for a 1974? Or any year?

Seen here on page 55 in the (red) owner manual supplied with my (Dec/72 build L) 4744 is a listing of the contents of the tool kit.
Italian cars seem to have 1 less tool, but it could be translation issues.
Mine is still complete as listed, and the arrangement is varied at best.
The only one I've ever used was the window regulator handle while waiting for Hall's brass to arrive back in the 80's.

That's hilarous! Probably so. Since my tool apparently went into YOUR kit (!) would you consider selling it?

I sent you a PM also. Just let me know.

Thanks!
Chuck, I notice in your photos that there are two different tool bags pictured. I also have two different bags- one smooth texture and one pebbly texture. They have different connections for the straps as seen in your photos (one has connection like a belt for pants, the other does not). I am guessing the smooth texture bag is 1971-72 and the textured in 1973-74.
Also, I have seen a number of different wrenches. Some say Junior on them and are metric. 12/13 16/17 and 18/19. The photos above show the fourth one is 10/11- is that correct or is it 14/15?
I have seen 1974 tool kits with wrenches that are marked marzal and are standard sizes, not metric. Anyone know for sure if they are original?

Also, any idea what part numbers are for the fan belts?
