Yes I am, but I am running a solid lifter cam with A3 heads and Boss valve train.
I find that the solids are much easier to adjust since they can be done with the engine not running. The hydraulic lifters with high pressure springs and anti-pump-up lifters can be a little tougher to get right since the plunger in the lifter has to be set with the engine running so there is oil pressure.

The hydraulics might even need to have shims placed under the fulcrums on top of the pedestals to get them right. Especially if you have had the heads freshened with a nice three angle "valve job".
That will change the height of the valve tip and therefore will need height adjustment. That's a long and tedeous procedure.

The solids are very easy to do. No oil spill and shooting all over, etc. But that's what I've been preaching all along to deaf ears.
Some mechanics swear that you can pre-prime the hydraulic lifter submerged in a can of oil, pumping the lifter with a push rod and just set the rockers at zero lash. It has never worked for me.

I have run solids on every one of my performance cars since 1972. I have had more then a few. If you use a quality rocker lock and roller rocker you will NEVER need to adjust them again. These are Fords dude. Not no freakin' Chevy GM trash.
