i agree, music as they want to make a video-game out of it ! More interesting is hearing when he go's on/off the gas .... seeing the road.
Just back from a nice trip to the sea....no hair on my head that thinks to put on the radio... even there is a quite good one ! Wink
Again amazed how much attention such a car atracks... enjoying see people diverting from them walking way to the parking lot to wonder around the car .... wifey and me spioning from a terras with some goodie booz Big Grin

You're assuming the only sound the camera would pick up is the engine - my guess is that folks add music to drown out the sounds of cursing a fumbled shift, or so you won't hear them singing along with the soundtrack from Xanadu.

I spotted another version of the same video, but the music is far quieter so it's mostly engine sounds.

Nice find. Always better without the annoying disco music!

As for me having a big amp and lots of speakers, I installed this system 6 years ago when I redid the interior. It was mainly for the rear view cam, NAV and correct reading GPS / speedo. It took me a couple of years before I actually used the audio system.

But for all you hardcore dudes out there... there will come a time.

For me, it was on a 7 hour ride, in heavily policed, dumb ass Ontario, where they lock up speeders for fun. I was on the very limit of my points - the next ticket would be the end of my license.

I was so frustrated, gurgling along at 2500 RPM. Bored to death. Radar cops everywhere! I killed some time figuring out how to use a complicated setup, then found some great XM / Sirius jazz stations, cranked it up and was able to make it to a far away destination without calling a lawyer.

Seldom used. But it has its place. Same goes for A/C.

I could be wrong, but aren't those Quebec cops?

And, unless I'm mistaken, the Quebec cops will take your car away at 40 km/hr over the limit (that's 25mph...) where in Ontario you get to go 50 km/hr (over 30 mph) before our cops take your car. Don't get me wrong, getting a $90.00 ticket in Ontario for "no front plate" pisses me off every time I think about it, but I am more scared driving though Quebec than I am anywhere in Ontario. Well, except the stretch of road that goes from my town to Quebec, which really IS heavily patrolled (they must still be looking for David...) Wink

I was just in traffic court for an 81 in a 65. By going to court they kicked it down to failure to yield to a safety device, and $140.
The kid in front of me was 16 and was there for a 109 in a 65. After listening to a lecture from the Judge, they knocked it down to an 85 in a 65 and $200.
The other guy in front of me was a bicycle rider given a ticket for failing to yield to a flashing yellow light in an intersection. They dismissed that.

The only time I see them impound a car here is when you are driving with a suspended or revoked license.

So you guys wanna' come down to Saratoga in May huh? I wonder why? Remind me to leave my Glock at home when I go to Quebec. I might resist arrest and I don't speak French.

Yikes? Maybe it's those Indian RCMP you guys got and they are jealous that their elephants can only do 20?
