Does anyone know how I can tell what pattern my door and trunk lock key should be? (#7024 came with an ignition key only!) Would the pattern be stamped on the lock barrells somewhere? Even if I find out the pattern # are there any records of the key patterns to get duplicates? Failing that do any of the vendors sell a complete replacement lock barrel set or has anyone found a work around from some other model?

Thanks in advance for any and all advice

The ignition is an early MarkI Ford Capri. The doors and trunk deck are early 70's/late 60's Fiat, exact source unknown. Thus, a stock Pantera came with two keys-the doors/deck were keyed the same. Find a REAL locksmith in Reno, not Home Depot ;-) You can remove the deck lid lock pretty easy, take it to him and have him cut a key. If you have been living a good life, your doors are still sporting the matching pattern and the deck lid key will work the doors. If not, remove the door locks and take the three Fiat units back to the locksmith and have him fix them up for one key.

The blanks are not rare to speak of, are sold on eBay. But any good, old time locksmith will be able to dig them up in his back room.

Good luck,

Larry
