All,

Where would one find the axle nut tool used on the Pantera and the Goose???? ....I already have a hammer and chisel...looking for the right tool....!

Also, would like an old master cylinder from a remote reservoir car. These would be 71 vintage as far as I know. Plastic reservoirs were mounted on the fenderwell, noton the M/C unit itself. Must be this type. Needs to be complete. Worn out is fine.

Thanks!
Steve

Steve, a Mangusta axle nut is one thread size smaller than that of a Pantera, so the vendor wrenches won't fit. I made one specifically for Mangustas a few years ago and gave it to Jim Kuehne (when he still had his Mangusta) for Nor-Cal Chapter use. See if he still has it- you should keep it now. That's assuming your Goose has ring-spanner nuts, not hexagonal ones. I've seen about every fastener possible attached to Goose axles....
Hi Steve,

http://www.momento.se/wp-conte...Katalog_2011_web.pdf

page 110 (108 if you look page numbers of the print rather than browser number)downwards are the internal four tooth ones. If you can find what you need, I can get it and ship it for you. It will cost an arm and leg, but quality is good. I bought momento for Pantera myself, and I'm still trying to recover from the shock of the price. I think it was in the ballpark of 200e. I still don't want to talk about it. Maybe someone from Sweden could get it cheaper.

That being said, coupled with the big Makita battery powered impact wrench, it took me 2 seconds to open the nut.

Janne, HEY!

WOW! That is a great tool catalog!!!

At this point, I am not sure what size I need for my car....as it looks different from the other one that someone sent me. And after reading Jack's note, about different fasteners being used......I would hate to buy one expensive tool, only to discover that I need a different one later....!!!!

Thank's for the link!!!

Ciao!
Steve
