Just installed the new switch when I rebuilt the shuttle valve. Anyone else had this happen?

Switch, wiring, fuse.
did you bench test the switch? You should do that now that problems have been found.
did you short the two wires independently from the switch and confirm proper operation?
did you confirm power to the brake light circuit?

The current crop is bad. I've had two quit prematurely. Your best bet is to install a pedal switch. Much more responsive too. Do a search, there is some pretty good instruction on how to do it.
You could skip the whole thing and get the PE switch:

Larry,I have never in my life bench tested a brake switch before but, I guess it's not a bad idea. I bypassed the switch and confirmed it is the switch. I was thinking about adapting a Mopar switch to the pedal but, the PE switch looks more turn key.
Nor have I ever bench tested a hydraulic brake switch.
when I wrote that post I was still thinking about the shuttle valve switch which is mechanical and easily bench tested.
just another of those senior moments 😉

So, are you saying that it could be the shuttle valve causing the switch not to work?
