Barn Find ...

This one happens to have been left in a barn for 20 years...

Found and bought by current owner and now 3 years standing in this warehouse, of a mexican collector...

So, the new owner said he will sell it to me but later changed his mind. He is a gentleman with no economical need whatsoever so Price is not an issue... he just prefers to wait...

Obviously that Holley double pumper is not stock!

I bet that date coded correct OEM dual point distributor is a couple grand!

I wonder how many of the missing parts are "Unobtainable"???!!!...Mark

Missing and noticeable:

Spare tire Rim
Aluminum header covers.
Aluminum rear vents backpanel

Maybe the rest can be bought, or re-manufactured.

On my work on 8MA-882 I came around some parts that I am able to reproduce like the following, and I will son make them available:

- Front Factory TAG with chassis no. and engine.
- Aluminum header cover (both sides)
- Aluminum rear vent backpanel.

I am also working on the "DeTomaso" valve covers plate, and anti Skid Plate...

we can note the mising header covers here... I didn´t take may pictures...

BTW in this warehouse this mexican colector has some 40-50 pieces of his stock.

- Low Milleage DeLorean
- 6 Corvettes ´65 to 86, somo 2004- 2005 with virtually no milleage on them (But a lot of dust !
- About 10 Mustangs, many towed from the dealereship to the warehouse, with less that 20 miles, some 2015, 2014, 2013
A beautull just finished ´58 thunderbid, looking 100 points to me, and purring like a cat.

The 1965 Corvette dependent upon it's engine code & other options could be GRANDE $$$$!!!

If the Dr. is not parting with the Mangusta, the 1965 Corvette might be a "Hidden Gem"!!!

Mark, I only noticed it is a 65, big block, modern rims, a bit battered. Of this car the owner specifically told me has never opened the Hood.

He however is not in the bussines of selling his stock, he just buys, and given that he is an important person with a public life he really doesnt care. But he BUYS whatever he likes. Recall this is one of his 2 warehouses, maybe with over 100 valuable cars in stock. The only car that is not his is the Mangusta I am trying to buy. Belongs to a friend of him. I still have not lost my hope..

This is one collection of mainly american cars that when sold in 30 years from now will give may things to talk about...

I do happen to have a 67 Vette convertible, my next restoration Project, big block. I share that taste with you. I live in the suburbs of Mexico City....

The Goose (Barn Find) is 8MA-990. it was sold already, not to me... he. you cant get them all...
