Its bling guys. I'm not stepping on toes by saying that am I? Come on. Polished billet aluminum suspension? That's bling, pure and simple.

It's ok if somebody wants bling! There's room amongst us for the customizers & show car guys. Nobody should have to apologize because they want bling on their car. I don't think less of somebody because they have bling suspesion. Its not for me, but that's just me, I don't expect everybody to be like me. OH God no, I don't want anybody to be like me, come to think of it!

If you're a racer, you'll want control arms of chrome moly or titanium tubing, TIG welded or brazed. Light & strong. But those aren't available from any vendors, only the bling. At least the bling is adjustable.

George,
I happen to think those are beautiful pieces. I'm glad and thankful the vendors offer these options to us. Granted they're not for everybody.

Roland,
I think that you, as a vendor, show poor taste criticizing and denigrating another vendor's offerings. Most of us know you purchased a huge amount of original parts when the factory closed, and you try to peddle them on this site. No problem with that... but I think you can show a little more class in doing so.

FWIW...
Roland

I have to say, its a pleasure having you here as a vendor, and your advise is well takin, I agree, those are for trailer queens. Put me in a car with those babies and all you will see is shavings. I prefer mild steel arms either factory or tubular. These cars are made to drive hard. DT was a bright individual with a wealthy wife. All the crying and complaining about the price of ball joints is not your fault. I'm sure in the original design DT could have used some off the shelf parts of another car co. But then this car would have been called an AMC. The lower aluminum arms are not for my taste. Why do we need to get personal here. we all have our opinions.
Since Wilkenson has been the only friendly advice I have gotten from a vendor so far..PI did not want to give me backspacing should I decide to go with another brand or wheels (non campy)and Hall's Wife wanted to sell me every other part in the book...and sice these are made right down the street, if I needor want apair I 'll get em locally. it seems like the most expensive part of pantera ownership is the after market being mopopolised by three to four vendors. Wilkenson has the best prices on replacement parts by a long shot so far. and his balljont set is only $500 now and the suspension busings are around $150 for the whole set or $18 each. he took the time to tlak to me and that goes a long way with me.

Funny, that is exactly the reason I think owning a Pantera is so cheap! You should see what happens when you want to buy spares for your Maserati Bora, or better yet, your ISO Griffo...
