I'm having my engine rebuilt with aussie heads, mild cam etc. I was thinking of purchasing a blue thunder intake. How well would that intake work on aussie heads? Would there be a problem with matching the ports? Also, would this manifold allow enough clearance for the stock engine screen to be used?

The Blue Thunder intake is for 4V ports which are much larger than 2V ports. It will be a poor match. The intake of choice for Aussie 2V heads is a Weiand Xcelerator 2V which is a single plane. It has somewhat larger ports than the 2V heads so will require soe port matching. If you must have a dual plane high rise for the 2V heads, there is one made in Australia:
