My '72 UK GTS has one of the switches not connected to anything (I think it is the second from the bottom), I believe this is normal for mid-70s Panteras.

I have a couple of owners handbooks, the earlier book (for 1972 UK cars) shows this switch connected to one of the radiator fans. In the later book (for 1973 US cars) it shows it unused.

My euro-GTS is the exact same way. It was supposed to hook up a radiator fan, but with no wires going to it, it is kind of hard for it to work.
De Tom,
I think it was only used on earlier cars which had one fan controlled automatically and the other controlled by the driver.
(My earlier owners handbook showed this on the wiring diagram).

On later cars where both fans are automatic there are no wires. The switch is there just to fill the hole. Bit like having a spare tyre, we have a spare switch Smiler
