Can't beleive it. That is one incredible car, the way I'd do one with unlimted budget. Stock body lines, tasteful upgrades. What a car. Now THAT is like a modern Ford GT at half price. Or less. Not sure what the price is, but a bargain for the amount of time, care, attention and re-engineering done. Would love to hear BoxBoys motivation for getting rid of this fabulous car.
OK, OK...

Thank you all for the nice compliments on my Pantera. Alot of myself and Steve went into this car. It is certainly a once-in-a-lifetime Pantera.

1st Adams: I'm not "getting rid" of anything. Half the price of a $ 140,000 Ford GT, or less?
2nd Mark: Hmmmmm another 1965 Sting Ray?

Having entertained an offer a short time ago that did not materialize I am having a fit of "what if's." The ebay ad cost me $ 8.05 and I have been interested to just place one for fun. I have actually received from the ad; 4 non-bidder inquiries of which one may be serious?

Having sold a couple of beautiful Sting Rays where I felt great about it; I learned never to say never. I do like a late model 2007-2008 GT3 and of course a Ford GT. Selling a Pantera like this is not an easy proposistion.

I didn't mean 'getting rid of' in a disease kind of way, but 'transitioning' seemed a little presumptuous! Anyway, I think your car is about what the Pantera might've evolved into if no Ford GT had ever been dreamt up.

A great car.

On your other points, I looked at a GT3 not too long ago, but had a twin turbo 996 and just couldn't justify it. I know, its a raw street legal race car and all that. To each his own. (That car is an orange/black car, black wheels if you're interested.)

I looked at a Ford GT at Marshall Goldman a month back. I'm still astounded there's no trunk! I attempted envisioning even the small overnight bag I easily put in anything else and it just wasn't there. But that may not be an issue for you in the least.

Back to your car - to my taste, if I was to EVER lust for a 'modded' Pantera, yours is it.

Hope someone who truly appreciates it winds up with it.
