Can I get confirmation that the stock booster is 7" and a single diaphragm?
Somebody had a better idea and jammed a 8" booster in mine. I had to pry it out and broke the push rod, okay fine it doesn't belong in there anyway. Now I'm wondering if they did that to overcome the low manifold vacuum of about 8 inches. Would this in fact make a difference, and can I go back to stock and be okay? I've seen some 7" units and they say you need to have 18-20" or you'll have to use a vacuum pump. Doesn't sound right to me.
