If you go to
http://www.geocities.com/provamo72/ website in the Tech section, there is a write up about brake booster and master cylinder upgrades. Have you done a "Find" (search) on this BB or on the DeTomaso forum for info on this? There have been quite a few discussions regarding this. The proportioning valve is biased toward the rear brakes so it is often modified to disable it or it is replaced with an adjustable valve. The shuttle valve (mounted on the floor) does a couple of things: gives a brake warning light on the dash and serves as a mounting point for the brake light switch. This can be plumbed out of the system and a "T" installed to accomodate the brake light switch. If you're looking for fittings, switches, etc. try Orme Brothers in CA
http://www.ormebrothers.com. They were very helpful when I redid mine. Since the brakes are such a critical system I did a fair amount of research and talked to several people to double check my mods.
