Brake calipers

Wow... those are nice. I wonder how much ceramic discs retail for.

I realy don't know, but I was supprised how heavy they were. We do a lot of effort to keep the unsprung load as low as possible, But these feld like they were made out of cast-iron.

I wonder if they chose a denser material in order to withstand the extra heat generated by the system with carbon ceramic discs. If the discs are lighter, I guess the weight is about the same but the braking would definitely be improved. Plus the fact that you won't have to deal with brake dust (or so I'm told).
