I would like to uprate my front brakes to something which I hope will stop the car! Just looking on ebay, I saw AP and Brembos, which came with plates which are used in order to weld onto whichever car applied to.
Is this a reasonable method of applying any high rated calipre to any car or will it only work if you have the correct calipre designed for that particular car?

there are Brembo and Wilwood brake systems available from the various Pantera vendors, pre-engineered to work properly with the Pantera, sold as kits that include all the pieces to make the conversion. I believe there are also kits using Corvette sourced components.

Due to the critical importance of your brake system in the safe operation your car, I highly advise the use of one of these kits, and I want to discourage the roll your own approach.

My Pantera is equipped with a 4 piston Wilwood superlite brake system, 12.75" rotors, that is very well balanced, very easy to modulate and possesses tremendous stopping power.
