Anyone using the Brembo brake kit our forum sponsor is selling? I realize they are asking big $$$$$, but they look pretty cool. Is the kit as bolt on as they say?

Thanks

You might consider Porsche 993 or 996 Brembo calipers with Wilwood hats and the appropriate rotors. These look pretty much like the Brembo calipers in the kits. The 993/996 have about the same weight distribution as a Pantera, and a heavier, so these should be a good choice. The Porsche guys like to upgrade to "BIG RED" brakes, or even the high $ ceramic brakes, so used calipers are on ebay all the time. The 996 calipers are probably a little better because they are monoblock versus bolt together, and both the front and rear are radial mount, making adapters easier. You're looking at under $2K, so it isn't too bad. You can use front calipers all the way around if you like the look, but I think they are overkill in the rear. I have 993 calipers that I plan to use.
