I didn't see an announcement either. Don't forget you will also need the "Pantera Cable Shift Rail Select Cable" to complete the install.

I am wondering if this allows the use of the luggage tub or if it is too tall?
Also wondering if there is a provision for retaining the stock back-up light switch, or if additional work is needed to adapt it to this unit or design/install an alternate method?

I have this kit and yes, the luggage tub fits with no issue. There is no backup light switch provision, so you will have to provide your own if you want that functionality. I was going to get around to it, but since my car is an early '72, the backup lights only come on when the headlights are on anyway, so it has not been a priority project.

Need? Yes. If you put a Corvette engine in it with a fuel tank in the front too, you would NEED a cable shifter...
