Their isn't much involved for Lambo doors on a Pantera. I was offered to have that done (my car is currently undergoing a full restoration since November of last year) and opted not to do the door kit. The other thing they offered was 'reverse' Lambo doors which open the other way- now that involves a lot of cutting and re-routing of wiring, but what it does do is give easy access to the cockpit. It would look sweet, and in retrospect I prolly should have done it, but I think it takes away from the car...people already think its a Lambo, why try making it closer to one? ..just my 2cents.

My buddy who worked on the program told me it was only meant to be a four year program. A learning excersise in rear engine automotive construction for GM. They had never done a mid engine productiuon car before and wanted to see how bad it would be. It turned out well for them. They then introduced what they learned as the Buick reggatta or whatever, and fell flat on their faces. No more mid engine for them. Wink
