I checked the dimensions of a 'goose' and a Gallardo and they are literally identical, so when it came time to acquire a cover for the goose, I chose the factory Lamborghini Gallardo covers, they are without a doubt the BEST EVER! I had one made from the same factory for a Countach and it was really sweet. Acquired this one off evilBAY, was reasonable and fits like a glove. I still have to do some 'artsy' thing to replace/cover over the Lambo logos with Detomaso, looking around as we speak!

Adams, believe it, but I can't find a detomaso logo anywhere, I was thinking a soft cotton t-shirt and cut it out and stitch it on or something like that, but I would want to start with black ideally.....also it reads 'Lamborghini' in small script across the back too, would love if it read 'detomaso' or better yet 'mangusta!'with that little bar across the top Smiler, any ideas? perhaps embroidery?
Since we're both apparently obsessive, I'm going to do the DeTomaso blue/white logo in my cover - provided Fabric paint/dye will adhere.

But I too recently bought a used cover off ebay for an F car that has the "F430" logo on the mirror pocket, and my car is a different model. You and I are both searching for a way to cover up perfectly acceptable logos!
The red cover goes on a black car that is 'missing' at the moment. Once it returns, it'll get it's own red cover back where it belongs. (I buy cars with identical silhouettes so all the covers will fit.)

The green car will get a blue cover. Yes, perfection needs to be protected, which is why I wear clothes. Just as ugliness needs to be shielded, which is why you do.

Adams,

Excellent come back. But at least I do not shop for my clothes in the "Little Boys" department!

Why it that you continue to is hide the identity of your “other” cars? Is it embarrassing to own a Ferrari? Or just be a member of a forum with a name like “Ferrari Chat”?
Jeff
Is that you I always see lurking near the little boys department?

I probably do need to take some photos over there. I'm having the floor on one side repainted this week. Seems a Viper tire got hotter than it should've (not sure how THAT happened) and lifted my non lifting floor paint.

Kind of a mess, but the "other" cars are crammed to the side that's not getting painted. Well, along wtih my leather redye project (complete interior) and a few other screwball things (anyone need 1100 feet of heart pine flooring from a 1911 house?)

I'll take pictures if you promise not to envy my red car cover anymore.
How do you get in and out of those things? Does it take two people to make it easy?

I have one of the car capules and it is a pain in the a$$ for anything that you use often. Great for long term storage of a car you just look at.
I purchased a cover for the Pantera from California Car Cover Company several months ago and it fits perfect. Call them and they will make it out of any of the fabrics they offer. They have the patterns for both pre-l and L cats.
