Hi Team..
still with dirty fingers/hands. Intake got milled down to be flat! New threads done..
Now the Carb set up....
Looking at the bottom of the Holley 600 from 1990 it has this channels (picture). Original/stock intake hat the 4 big holes but now I am using WEDGE Style Intake.
What to do FOR the CARB BOTTOM channels?
1) leave them open and used a modern WEDGE Gasket?
OR
2)have a Spacer to COVER the CHANNELS

Again a question for my learning curve. Never had a car with WEDGE intake
Smiler
Any help?
TX
Matthias

If you milled the top of the plenum flat, then you do not use the wedge spacer.

The wedge spacer is so that you do not need to mill the intake manifold to be flat.

You do one or the other. Not both.

On the carb, just use a normal Holley 4v carb gasket. The channels are for the balance tubes milled into the base of the carb throttle body.

Leave them alone.
