Just like PanteraWanabe we had a Cars n Coffee in my area last Sunday and thought I'd get 1424 out amongst it as it was going to be a big one.

Got her out on the trailer and took her round and had a great day. A great mix of cars get to these from the turbo rice burners to classic Ferrari's / Jags / Merc etc to rat rods etc.

Lots of attention on the Pantera, especially when I got the deck lid up.

Can't wait to get her rego'd now so I can just drive her there. So much easier.

Thanks George!

She's still very much a diamond in the rough, but bit by bit we're getting her sorted.

I've been itching to get her out and showing - even with all the flaws in the paint, interior and a really rough engine bay people are still really interested in what they are and want to know all about them.

There was a local girl at the meet that's connected to my tyre guy who's a massive Paul Walker / Fast & Furious fan - she's gone and visited his crash site and grave over in the US who was amazed this car was here and was really emotional when we let her sit in the drivers seat.

The car has a couple of real connections with people either because of what it is being a Pantera (for those who know of them) or what it's done being in Fast 5. It's interesting watching the various reactions to either or both sides of it.
Looks like a great turnout especially considering Radelaide isn't the largest city in OZ. I think it is bigger than ours here in Brisbane. Our C and C is spread out over 3-4 smallish car parks and is really disjointed. It starts at 7.30am but you have to arrive at 6.45am if you want to get a decent park. Great to see your car out and about and I hope you get her on the road soon so you can really enjoy it.
This particular one had a massive turn out - probably 2.5 x bigger than any this year so far. It'll be interesting to see how we go on the next one.

That said - one of the guys who I spoke to said this was a great turn out even compared to the ones over East. So perhaps its a quiet little Adelaide thing. Awesome cars hidden away and coffee just as good Wink .

This one starts at 8, but to get a good park you need to be there at 7:30. A few turned up at 9 and complained they couldn't get a pristine park.

Hopefully she's not too far away from being properly drivable!! It'll make getting to these things much easier and cheaper.
