Clone a Ford GT or Lightning engine...

I had understood that the engine would be offered as a "crate" engine by SVO at some point in time. Have any of our BB readers been able to purchase a new Ford GT? We would like to do a story for PI Magazine on an owner's impressions. Dave

I would have to consider selling my GT-5 for one if I could just figure out how to pay for the other 2/3's of it.

I found a web article that claimed the Ford GT motor is $45,000 direct from Ford. Try and get one!

I see no point in buying an engine from ford for $45k with no computer or harness, which is what I've seen it advertised for.
