Clutch`

I believe the clutch has broken, put car in any gear, just like it is in neutral. clutch pedal feels fine, and shifter feels fine. car now has a webber clutch and pressure plate?. or so the records show. never heard of webber clutches. What do you guys recommend for clutches? just a driver, not raceing. Found a 1" spring on the ground. I think it comes of the clutch disc, around the center. will know more when I pull trans. Thanks.

I had the spring in the disc come apart in my car about 2 months after I bought the car. i have no idea what was in it before. I put the cluch package in from PI Motorsports and it has been wonderful. great clutch for daily driving. easy to engage and has all kinds of bite. In my opinion that is the way to go if you need to replace the clutch.

The centerforce clutch I bought was a Webber and came from Pantera Performance Center in Castle Rock CO. Dennis Quella should be able to give you advice and find the parts.
I have been very happy with my clutch. You may not need a new one. Just a repair.

Webber is a co-brand name with McCloud (I think thats how you spell it,or it's McLeod). Either way same clutch, painted orange instead of red, and different lable. At least thats what the rep from their company told me last year at SEMA show.
