Clutch Flex Line Fittings

I did mine many years ago. I just cut the metal tube and flared it. Then just used a tube nut and Ferrel. Then you use either a male to male an -4 adapter or a -4 male hose end to the tube nut.

Otherwise you are looking for fittings that do not exist to my knowledge.

I believe I bought my line from Hall and they provided the necessary fittings. I just swapped it out without issue.

           I have equipped three Panteras with the bolt-on stainless steel slave cylinder line  from Pantera Performance Center in Castlerock, Colorado.  Simple and straightforward replacement of the stock red plastic line.

That is what I purchased a couple years ago and just now went to install and noticed the male bubble on the OE red line that attaches to the line on the frame.  The male bubble has a 32 deg angle versus the 37 deg angle on the -4 AN fitting that was provided by Pantera Performance Center.  I am concerned that it will not seal which is why I was trying to find a male 7/16-20 metric bubble to a -4AN.  I assume you have not had leak issues.  Thanks for all the replies

          All three of my installations were on bone stock Panteras, all three were late '74s.  If the 32-37 degree fittings clashed, then they have never leaked and I never knew it.

I had my local hose shop make up a hose with -4 AN fittings even though they advised that there was a mismatch in the seats, That was over 30 years ago and it is still working fine.

Many flares are off of the ideal intended angle. 30° to 37° won't be an issue. I do 45° to 37° all the time with no issues at all.

Same with mine - Pantera Performance Center line with fittings and Dennis said that is what he always uses and it never leaked in 30 years.
