Sods law says that the only seal you don't renew will let you down.

Its true, the seals on my master cylinder have gone west as we say and need renewing.
I can get a pair made locally for about $12 so its not a disaster, but it means the car won't be going to be painted next monday.

My question though, is there a clip of some kind fitted to the front marked by an arrow on my Pic?

Hello Forest.
we have a company in England called Barnwell services, they manufacture seals for many operations. My Brake master cyl, clutch slave,
heater Brass valve, are all made by Barnwell, and other folk in the UK have used them with no problems, and their prices are very good.

They need samples of course, if you need seals let me know and I will try and help you.
