I am planning to have a stainless steel sleeve installed into my original style clutch master cylinder. I am considering increasing the size of the bore to give me a little more clutch release ability, to increase the life of the synchros. I am already using Quella's long throw slave. The reason for sleeving the master in the first place is that the master has failed. I just thought that while I'm spending the money anyway, maybe I could gain a little extra clearance between the disc and pressure plate. Has anyone out there done this? What do you guys think? I presume that this mod would make my already heavy clutch pedal heavier?

Para,
If you had to do it over again, would you do the same modification? Do you have a long throw slave? What clutch are you using? Do you happen to know what size bore you went to in the rebuilt slave? I'm actually leaning against this mod since my clutch is already so heavy. If I were going back to my old dual disc clutch or a Centerforce, I would probably opt for the larger bore.
Thanks,
Art
