I have one of those aluminum CNC clutch masters on my car. Tonight, I decided to bleed the system because I have been having dis-engagement problems. I was bleeding at the slave using a mighty-vac pump. Everything went fine for a second, but then stopped. I added a little more pressure, then a little more, then a little more until all of a sudden there was a swoosh and the master was sucked dry. No biggy, or so I thought. I refilled the master, but I couldn't get any fluid movement no matter how hard I pulled using the pump. I undid the fitting at the master and was able to bleed the line by itself. I then tried bleeding the master, but not go. I cannot get fluid to pass from the resevoir out of the master using the vacuum pump or by pumping the clutch pedal. I am really hoping not to have to remove this thing as I cannot possible see how to get a wrench on the bolt under the dash. Any ideas?

I have the same set up and experienced exactly the same thing. I had a hell of a problem with several things as noted in the post link below, one of which was just like your issue. For some reason, this master set up doesn't allow flow by just pumping at the slave (from my experience anyway). I eventually got flow from the master by continuousely pressing the pedal, then going to the rear and pumping some more, and repeating that process. It also helped when I pulled slightly on the slave arm and held it there, then released the slave vent screw and then pushed in the slave arm and tightened the slave vent screw again (and repeated this process several times). Also make sure you have the return spring connected through the process so it aids in pumping when you start getting some pressure. This was trial and error for me, I was puzzled just like you why I couldn't get the fluid. Try all this before you monkey with the master. I almost messed around with the master too, but glad I didn't go that direction.

Thanks. I will give that a try when I get home. I couldn't even get the master to bleed pulling a vaccuum right there on the end of it. Very strange. Maybe it is sucking the piston past the supply hole or else the piston isn't returning far enough that the supply is open. I don't know.

Maybe try pulling back on the pedal too. Now that you mention it, I recall doing that too. Take a look down into the cylendar. I would think you could see the open supply hole. I recall looking down there too and took photos.
Good, damn pain in the crotch huh. Yes once you get it going it seems ok from there. I actually don't know what helped mine. I just fiddled with everything I could think of till I got some response with fluid coming through. Two martinis helped me with this process. Maybe just this CNC set up. I never had that issue with the stock unit (although I like the look of the CNC).
Glad you got it going, My experience with hyd. clutch systems is to bleed from the slave to the master cly just be sure not to over fill the res. by pumping. I use an oiler that has a triger type pump. (old school from my mercedes days). the reason is the piston cup allows fluid to pass back and you seem to get air locks in the system trying to pump from the pedal. Larry
