Cobra Jet cam

Hi All

I'm stripping the engine out my 72 Pantera.
My motor is a matching number block still has 4V heads and 4 bolt main block.
Is there a way to identify the the cam fitted? I'm hoping the stock Cobra Jet cam is still there. The only marking on the rear of the cam is what looks like a number 1 stamped in it.

if the original cam is still there it's probably toast upon inspection

the number 1 is not promising, have a look here, apparently some ID marks are between the lobes and this will giva an idea what some factory cam markings look like. unfortunately the 72 CJ is not listed though

there are reproductions available but seriously think about modernizing the lobe tech
