Hello Guys
this is an easy one

Just look at this picture and you will see that I have a broken plastic part on the ignition coil

Can I just glue it back and go like that ? I ask this question because i don't know if it's good to put glue here because of temperature and electricity

Anyway I know I should replace it but do you have a reference to give to me ?
I know we can find it easily on Panteras by wilkinson or pim but I'd like to find it in a shop in France so I need a reference...

Thanks for your help, one more time

Fred

That distributor rotor looks to be a 52 series.

It has been used in MANY different cars (American Motors, Chrysler, Jeep, GM, Studebaker). It should be very easy to find, even in France.

PART NUMBERS: Standard Motor Products #DR311, ACDELCO D426R, BWD 138Z, Duralast DR969 and DR-169, Echlin ECH RR1670 (heavy duty one).

Just order a Distributor Rotor for a 1957-1974 small block V8 Chevrolet.

If you are looking for a superior replacement, the MSD 84673 'Race Rotor" is the way to go.

Very easy to replace. Remove the mounting screws, lift it off. Put new one into place & replace screws. Then you are good to go.

The Rotor only goes on one way. If you notice on your old rotor there is a square symbol by one of the screws and a circle by the other screw. These correspond with the locating posts located on the backside of the rotor (you'll see them when you lift the rotor off).
