Here is the final product. I took it out yesterday. It was cool (~65*F) and the air intake temp never went above 90*. Much better than I expected.

Will, I must say, I like it. It's subtle enough that it doesn't unduly disrupt the profile of the car yet gets the functional job done. Tastefully done and well executed.
