I bought a lot of 6 and 12mm lately for the car but problem is metric sizes have like 3 different pitches on the threads 1.00, 1.25.and 1.5 maybe even more. I have been to the hardware store and specialized fastener shop two and sometimes three times a day so I can't even recall what the pitch was that I used on different bolts. If I wasn't so rushed before Vegas I should have wrote down the sizes and pitch for suspension & misc. other bolts.

If I were to do it again I would buy a metric thread chart/gage. Measure size and pitch needed and just order online from http://www.mcmaster.com
They have bolts at very attractive prices even compared to closing hardware stores.
Its all just a blur seems like I used some 6mm but it may have been 8mm. Hope the hood stays on.

All I really remember was giving the counter guy my bolt and nut screwed together for the A arms and telling him I wanted 20ea. I always buy extra, well I had to go back twice after that trip for the correct pitch nuts. Their fault and my time and gas! No I take that back I should of checked to make sure it was right, I know better.
