I participated yesterday in the annual Concours de Elegance in Cincinnati, OH where the featured Marque was "Italian Beauties". My 72 Pre L was in the 67-74 class where there were several Ferrari's, a Lambo Muira (fresh from restoration)an Alfa, a Ghia (one of 50 produced) and a Mangusta.
The Lambo took best of class as well as best of theme, even though he had to be pushed do to an engine problem.
To my surprise, I was awarded "People's Choice" award. It was quite an honor as most of the cars at this show are museum pieces and trailer queens and my Pantera I drive mine as often as I can.
While the judges tend to write us off for not having a pedigree and not being 100% original, people LOVE THESE CARS!
