Thanks guys, it was quite an honour and made even better by having the support of Robert & Lena and their friends Tim & Linda (and their Cobra) who all came from Montreal for the day. Great weather and lots of fun watching Ford fans trying to figure out what a Pantera was!

Mark, I'm adding my congrats to all the others. Way to go, my Canandian friend, eh...

Hey Guys, I probably wouldn't have picked white as my first choice, but I like it more and more. I think the nice polished wheels and the chrome help pick it up a bit. I love the wine red that Mike Dailey's car is, or orange, or yellow too. I guess if you HAD to, you could paint it silver... LOL (sorry George—couldn't resist). A note to Mark 6808 (great name...), if I lived in OC.CA, I'd be thinking twice about black paint. It does look great, but I've had a few black cars, and black forgives nothing, shows scratches easily and is oh, so HOT in the mid-day sun—especially with large flat body panels. I hope you've got a really good AC unit (mine's shot).

Whoever is confused about what colour to paint their Pantera need look no further than a show winner and a bunch of admiring fools. White is right!

Didn't I see your response to the Whiplash SWAG survey? You paid only that amount?? Quite the smart shopper you are! You had to have done lots of work to it since you bought it, right? Please tell me it's so, or I'll be really jealouse, Mr. Eye For A Deal and Johnny On-The-Spot, with cash ready, I'm sure!!

Don't I remember you saying you polished the ZF yourself too? Way to be, Amigo! I have to do that soon, when I get less lazy....

Ron, you're being too kind. I paid normal market price for the car. A deal that was good for me (I really wanted a clean Pantera) and the previous owner, who kept the car very well (and needed to downsize his fleet). I did clean up and improve a bunch of stuff on the car, but see my previous post in the ZF forum about my lazy ZF polish. Not a concourse job by anyone's standards. I agree with you about white. If I find myself in your part of the desert again, I want a ride!
