except for the 180´s what makes a engine sound like this? Camshaft and compression figures please!!!

Anders, lots of green bills will make it sound like that, that is a seriously souped up engine!

Actually, it doesn't sound that great. It is stumbling noticeably off of idle.

You are actually right Doug, it does hesitate off idle even without load. Day marked in calendar.

The squirrels here are telling me it may be as simple as the floats being set too high but they by a vote of 6 to 5 say it is definitely the acorns, I mean the carb?

Just passing that along. Not many people talk to the squirrels?

Be nice guys. My Pantera has a 13:1 compression ratio with a .727 lift cam and does not get it on until you are above 3000 rpm. My Grandson was running the engine at a local car show at the request of the attendees. If you go to youtube, check out 'flasunstate' for videos of the my Pantera.

Hi captaintobeys, I run Sebring Raceway, we are each about the same distance away, 5-6 times a year and Daytona Speedway 2-3 times a year. My next event is Sebring Sept 19/20 and then the Lake Mirror show Oct 17 in Lakeland with all the other Panteras. Nov 13-15 at Sebring again and then Daytona first weekend in Dec. Hope to see you at Lake Mirror show.
