The u-joints are very common, you can get tractor joints that are heavy duty, look the same. Be careful how you install them, if you do it backwards there is interference in the motion.

Also, the drive shafts and splined carriers that attach to the stub axle and ZF are common Lift-A-Loft parts.

I see that the Jegs add notes that is a 1410 series joint - I ordered the same series recently (different vendor, I think it was listed as a 5-1410X, can't find the receipt now) and it worked perfectly; I'd guess the Jegs part would work. Critical joint dimensions were 4.188" OD and 1.188" cap dia. (This said, I remember reading somewhere that there were 2 different OEM Spicer joints used by the factory, so these numbers might not be the right for everyoneSmiler) Regards, Nate
Hmmmm, I thought I posted this a long time ago.

Goose U-joints interchange with a host of Ford truck joints used from the 50-s to 90's F250's.

I found these Ford part numbers in my saved search:

B6TZ4635B, E8TZ4635A, F2TZ-4635-E, F81Z-4635-AB

That would be 1956, 1978, 1992, and 1998 (99-07) various Ford trucks....

I have recently sourced these drive shaft universals. The drive shaft is still in use by Hardy Spicer although it is slightly more solid on the wheel end and still needs to be welded. They are good for in excess of 800 Horsepower! The Ref is a 1410 style shaft and the universal joints are 5-641XD. These are extra heavy duty and sealed for life. In Aust around $60 each including fitment.
