I heard the same weather report, which is just as well, after driving to the TPOC meeting last night, 6808 decided to leave me a "love puddle" on the garage floor

I can't believe they are going to discontinue the show! That has been a very cool get together. I hope they find another good place to do it.

Yea, this was my favorate event, free, in and out in a couple hours and "lots o" exotics. I have my glass-packs all shined up for the event rumbling & thunda for the local residents weather permitting! See below:

Before leaving the house I checked the yahoo doppler and over the ocean just off the coast it showed red...not good! But anyway I headed for the event since in Irvine it was sunny. I got there at 5:45 am and cars were already lined up on the side of PCH parked ready to enter the event parking lot. But then the local gumshoe comes by and says they will ticket everyone if they don't move along, as they were not going to open the entrance until 7:00. After driving about a mile or so on PCH it started to sprinkle, so I Booked it Danno back over the hills to Irvine before the downpour. Since I have no wiper motor & blades, I was forced to get it well over 130 to avoid water on the windshield. Luckily all the local gumshoe were still at the Crystal Cove parking area, or I would have had to explain the reasoning for the slight excessive speed.

PS did you hear that Cyrstal Cove is moving to FOMOCO headquarters in Irvine next week?

I'm going to try and make it, Yes with the Pantera. Should be nice outside on Sat. Who else is headed that way ?

I can't make it this Saturday, but I hope to be there next Saturday the 28th.

My Pantera isn't ready for show right now. Been working on it. Door panels are off, carpet is out, etc. My Viper is supposed to come back from the paint shop this week. They were wet sanding the last piece today. If they manage to get it done, I'll take the Viper down. If not, I'll be running the Guzzi, but I'll definitely be there!

Yeah. Awesome turn out for the first show. They really did a good job getting the word out. Was organized really well too.

Only downside of this event VS being at Crystal Cove is that I miss all the scantly clothed female participants like at "The Cove".
