Cup holders???
A well-located and usable cup holder is the holy grail of all Pantera owners.
The only spot that even remotely suggests it’s adaptability is the rear of the center console next to the firewall.
and you would need to have Gumby arms to be able to make that location functional

...You would actually Allow 'Liquids' in Your Pantera While Driving??
...What You would really Need is a Mop! LOL
But...Merry Christmas.

I can fit a nice big metal coffee “sipper cup” between the front edge of my passenger C-4 seat and the center console. It works good.

I used to drive my Pantera to work every Friday ... back before retirement. I mounted an aftermarket folding cup holder in place of the ash tray. When there's a drink in it I have to lift my forearm to shift gears. Its not something I would use when driving vigorously, for that situation the cup holder folds up and out of the way. But for cruising and relaxed driving its a wonderful convenience.
I don't remember where I purchased mine, but I did a search and they are still available.

And , as Marlin suggested, I have managed to splash my favorite mocha on the console and seat cushions a time or two.

@sjdennis
i would like a set without the logo. Too many logo/decals on my car now.
My 'cup-holder' isn't exactly as the name suggests. I needed one while flying 14-hr missions with the Navy. My 'working seat' in the subchasers only had an 8" x 12" plywood table in front of the seat so when strapped in I could barely move, encapsulated by radios & ASW stuff. Also couldn't modify the plane. I took my squadron-logo coffee cup to the base shop and cut a 1/4" x thick x 4" wide circular lead sheet, glued to the bottom with RTV. The 4-1/2" tall ceramic cup now weighs around 2-1/2 lbs and does not tip or slide. No slosh if I don't fill it quite full.
I also used it in my '65 Corvair-commuter which had NO console at all- the cup sat flat on the carpet and did not tip or slide. While Panteras are far from a commuter (although Judy drove it to work regularly), that old cup sits securely on the floor between my legs. Bottled drinks jam between the seat bolster & console so both need no holes to attach. But I'm considering an elegant built-in system like Denny Finn's WA shop made for a custom console & dash show-car. See it featured in an upcoming POCA Newsletter.
David do they still sell these? I wish mine had an armrest on the center console. Can’t seem to find any selling one anymore…
I’ve made a few window crank cupholders for others (see above). I could make more if others are interested. PM me if you’d like one or two.

You'd have to call Greg at Full Throttle Panteras, who took over the business after Don Byars passed away. They usually make them as part of a complete interior. Don did a complete interior for me but we decided to leave the console stock. Years later, I decided I wanted one of Don's custom consoles. Upholstering it was no problem because he simply ordered a hide from the same dye lot as my leather interior, so it was an exact match.
These are excellent cup holders. Just not sure where you'd put it though.
