dash 1 - shorter hub carrier for exact engagement?

Has the dash 1 a shorter hub carrier than the dash 2? My dash 1 do not full engage with some clearance and therefore the throw out bearing runs allways with the rotating crank!

I have the normal 3-finger pressure plate.
Is the adjustable hub carrier from P.I.M. the right one? Please help me - many Thanks!!
