DASH CAP

Have any of you fine cat owners installed a Dash Cap! I purchased one from Hall, and
I am getting ready to cover up my cracked and faded dash. I am really looking for Suggestions, nothing can beat experience.
Do I have to take out all the instruments (tach,speedo.etc.)and how did you remove the Air-cond vents? Thanks.
Marlin, I removed the Resistor on the Gen lite, amp gauge works fine. Thks. I am using the old resistor as a boat anchor.
