Can you believe it? Dec 16th and I took the Pant out for a ride. Green grass. No snow. Wow, never did this before.
I guess global warming has some advantages.
I'll get my camera next nice day. Winter photos anyone?

No photos for me. I was in the garage and just decided to hit the road. It was sudden, short and sweet. Didn;t think about a camera. It's not what we're used to in December.

Deeb, glad to see you have the car out. Do you believe this weather? Were not used to this. My cars tucked away for the winter this year. To bad not to be able to enjoy this great weather. Have a merry christmas. Looking forward to getting together with you guys next year.

Dave, yes it stopped raining for 1 day. We had high winds, rain and snow, days before. When the forecast was sunshine, we made some phone calls and met for coffee. Today is cold and raining.

I wish I could have joined you, but it would have taken shovelling the Pantera garage bay out from under a four foot snow drift. Send some of that global warming my way, please.

The good news: The 351C/transaxle is stripped down and disconnected. It is all ready to come out. Was hoping to do it on the 23rd. To make life easier, I removed the top end and the whole front end of the block - right down to the chain cover. Hopefully, I will not have to move the engine back as much for the lift. I am trying to copy the Pantera Place removal set-up. Instead of the beams they talk about, I want to use my Ford 351C Factory lift lugs that attach to the heads at the exhaust manifold.
The bad news: Haven't done it yet. But we are coming along. The car has only been off the road for 3 weeks. I have all winter. I will keep the progress posted from time to time.

Yes, that warm Pacific Northwest weather was great for bringing my new purchase home to Victoria from Tacoma, WA.
