Is there any reason for the GTS paint scheme to “blackout” the entire rear lid? I can see the functionality of a blackout front hood and possible the ease of putting on a hood that was painted separate from the car.
Would that ease of painting the entire rear lid separately the reason or is there some design/styling element to break the sweep back line of the rear section.
Were the GTS front hood and rear lid made from aluminum and thus the blackout painting to distinguish them?
