The latest publication on DeTomaso Automobiles,DeTomaso Macchine da Corsa, is tentatively scheduled to be delivered to the Pantera International Store by July of 2006. This text has 456 pages and more than 1,000 photographs, many in color of practically every DeTomaso racecar that could be captured on film.
Many rare and never seen before race shots. The book also contains over 1,100 race results, information we might add that is sadly ignored by the mainstream automotive press.
There are many chapters that focus on selected factory race cars offering unknown details and historical information.
This is a "must-have" book for the DeTomaso historian to the hobbyist. It is easy to find books about Shelbys and Ferraris but until now, the impressive race records of the beloved Pantera and other DeTomaso race cars was mainly based on rumor or speculation.
You don't have to be a big race fan to enjoy this comprehensive archive of photos and information. This is a large volume and one you will want to feature in your collection or library.
The cover price is 80 Euros or around $100 USD. The author has permitted Pantera International to offer this book to our customers for only $50.00 for a limited time. After June 1, the price will revert to the cover price.
