I am tentatively in the market and been researching for a GTP/IMSA/Group C car and thought about this car a couple times. It could bring together my love of De Tomaso and desire to vintage race. Don't take this the wrong way, but I have seen it advertised on various sites anywhere from $199K to $345K all of which IMO is too expensive for a car that needs a race motor and full crack testing.
In comparison I can get a fully restored Le Mans Class winning GTP car running a Cosworth V8 for $200K.
If it becomes more realistically priced I might be interested.... wanna trade?

I understand what you say. You can't compare this car to a GTP in all respects. A better comparison would be the value of a Group 3, 4 or 5 Pantera. These cars are all priced higher than this one and may or may not have LM history.

I see the Group C car reported as sold, can you tell us where it went and will we be seeing it on the historic circuit?
